Founded by Conor Hourigan, Global Wealth Talent is a strategic advisory practice that helps wealth platforms accelerate advisor growth, solve for succession risk, and improve integration outcomes — all through discreet, targeted sprints or ongoing counsel.
I partner with RIAs, multi-family offices, and private equity–backed firms who want to deepen origination across their advisor base, align incentives with long-term growth, and support team lift-outs or acquisitions without friction. I also advise private partnerships, trust companies, and private asset managers looking to scale without losing cultural coherence or advisor autonomy.
Before founding Global Wealth Talent, I was the Senior Partner for Wealth Management at Korn Ferry International, where I focused particularly on assessment, retention, and succession strategy for senior advisor and leadership roles. I also served as Head of Talent and Recruiting for UBS Wealth Management Americas, sitting on both the Americas HR Executive Committee in New York and the Global Talent & Recruiting Committee in Zurich.
Over the past 20 years, I’ve delivered more than 300 projects and searches, building a deep U.S. network of over 30,000 private wealth professionals across advisory, investment, and leadership roles. My advisory offering draws on that network, as well as on first-hand insight into how elite platforms scale, integrate, and evolve — and how they stall.
Today, I work independently, free of client conflicts, with ambitious firms who want nuanced insight and low-lift solutions for high-stakes advisor growth problems.
