My Background
Conor Hourigan is the founder of Global Wealth Talent, a discreet independent practice focused on people intelligence and senior advisor coverage for family offices, the principal investors who partner with them, and the private wealth sector more broadly.
He brings twenty-five years of experience at the strategic end of the industry, including as Co-Global Head of Talent Acquisition at UBS Wealth Management and Senior Client Partner at Korn Ferry. That background spans private banks, wealth managers, family offices, PE firms, and institutional investors, across markets that approach hiring, assessment, and people decisions in fundamentally different ways.
He works with family offices and principal investors on mandates where the formal record does not tell the complete story: advisor and board appointments, senior executive hiring decisions, and due diligence on individuals a family is considering committing capital to. He also works with private banks, wealth managers, RIAs, and multi-family offices on coverage of senior client advisors and teams, where the right conversation depends on discretion, access, and trust above all else.
His client base is split roughly evenly between North America and the rest of the world, across EMEA, APAC, and Latin America.
Born and raised in Ireland, Conor spent more than a decade in New York covering the Americas market before relocating to London, where he now serves a global client base. A dual Irish and US citizen, he holds a BSc in Finance from University College Cork.
